My rating of this resource: ***

My experience using this resource:
Biology: Energy Transfer in cells

Topic I was teaching:
Cellular Respiration

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
to have students understand the stepwise release of energy from a sugar molecule to ATP
to have students know and understand the equation for cellular respiration, being able to identify where reactants are used and products released during the process

Course Level:
A.P., Honors or Advanced, Intro or Regular, Remedial

How I/my students used the resource:
-as a review of cellular respiration
-as a lab resource (making cheese, yougurt, soda)
-as a resource "ask the expert" questions

Value Added:
Increases access to scientists, Provides practice or tutorial, Provides additional content, lab ideas

Strengths:
simple, not super engaging but very straight forward, perhaps over the heads of more foundational students

Weaknesses:
goofy songs can turn students off, more of a teacher resource than for students
