My rating of this resource: *****

My experience using this resource:
Chemistry and Biology

Topic I was teaching:
Attractive forces of water molecules/ hydrogen bonding

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
Chemistry: To have students have a better sence of the attraction between water molecules as an introduction to solutions.
Biology: To have students understand the attractive forces between water molecules to better understand osmosis and cohesive and adhesive forces.

Course Level:
Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
For both classes students had access to this site on the unit plan. After talking about attractive forces and hydrogen bonding I used the site to supplement the information, stopping it to ask questions for further understanding.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation

Strengths:
The simplicity yet accuracy of the animation that can give students a visual in their heads about the forces. Especially 9th grade biology students who have not had a formal class in chemistry. I can also pause it and restart easily.

Weaknesses:
none really
