My rating of this resource: *****

My experience using this resource:
Chemistry

Topic I was teaching:
Equilibrium- LeChatlier's principle

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
Have students understand the shifting that takes place when one adjusts pressure, concentration, temperature in an equilibrium reaction.

Course Level:
Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
Students have access to this resource but are introduced to it first in class. I talk about one of the variables and then show the corresponding animation.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation

Strengths:
it is easy to use, the animation is very simple and visually appealing. When you select a variable the animation shows what is happening at the molecular level as well as a graph to show changing concentrations. It is very clear. I could also see using it without explanation first and have students hypothesize.

Weaknesses:
There really aren't any with the exception that the screen might be a bit busy for some students.
