Topic I was teaching: No specific topic-The site is useful for the entire course
My learning goal for which this resource was used: Reinforces topics covered in class. This site is especially useful for those sophomores who are academically aggressive and already thinking about college. They can get the 'college experience' and topic information above and beyond what they learn in class.
Course Level: Honors or Advanced
How I/my students used the resource: It's free and there are a many resources that I can use as well as students to stay current and up to date. I also like it because I can go to class any hour of the day or night!
Value Added: Provides visualization or animation, Provides practice or tutorial, Provides additional content, Provides assessment opportunity, Increases student engagement and motivation
Strengths: great content, easy access
Weaknesses: elevated and not useful for all students.
