My rating of this resource: ****

My experience using this resource:
1D Kinematics

Topic I was teaching:
We were continuing our study motion and its associated graphs.

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
I used the website in a class activity hoping to help students visualize 1D motion and connect the equations describing the motion, and the associated graphs.

Course Level:
Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
I introduced the website as an at home resource initially. After studying it more myself, I had the students work through parts of it during a class. I found it helpful for some students. I will need to do more work to incorporate it better next time.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Increases graphing skills, Increases modeling skills, Provides practice or tutorial, Provides additional content, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
Has a great deal of content and it is easily followed.

Weaknesses:
Takes time. Sometimes students having difficulty connecting the image to the content of the lesson - they are so engaged in the animation that they forget wat they are looking for. Hard to switch back and forth between individual computers to entire group discussion.
