My rating of this resource: ****

My experience using this resource:
Biology

Topic I was teaching:
Population genetics

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
My goal was fro students to have some practice using the Hardy-Weinberg equations.

Course Level:
A.P., Honors or Advanced, Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
Students used this page as homework to practice what we went over in class. There were other linls on the page that they used as well to review key concpets.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Increases modeling skills, Provides access to data sets, Provides practice or tutorial, Provides additional content

Strengths:
The problems are great because they use human diseases as exmaples and the resulting allele frequencies appear more realistic. The other links provide solid tutorials and quizzes that will help students understand the concepts.

Weaknesses:
The format on the screen is hard to veiw when in the problems, but it is not enough of a problem that the tool becomes uneffective.
