My rating of this resource: *****

My experience using this resource:
Chemistry

Topic I was teaching:
Gas Laws

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
More information for me as a teacher to broaden what I teach.

Course Level:
A.P., Honors or Advanced, Intro or Regular, Remedial

How I/my students used the resource:
In the short time I have been on this service, I have enjoyed the many different opinions and topics that have been shared. From evolution to demonstrations for vapor pressure. It is very much like having a very large group of peers that I can get help from (almost immediately). In the case of gas laws, it just happened that a question came to me about a certain demonstration. The answers that came back were new to me and I was able to use one or two in class. There is not much that students can do with the site though I have thought about using it to see if we could set up a student connection for some projects or information.

Value Added:
provides professional development

Strengths:
Huge amount of resources and great opportunity to build a network.

Weaknesses:
Sometimes there are just too many to read, the delete key must be used. I find it tempting to check out every resource but have to choose carefully.
