My rating of this resource: ****

My experience using this resource:
chemistry

Topic I was teaching:
bonding-polymers

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
Show students the two basic ways to make polymers.

Course Level:
A.P., Honors or Advanced, Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
I used this on the activ board as I was explaining polymer formation, I then demonstrated the making of nylon and polyurethane so they could get both a macro and molecular vision of what was occuring.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Provides practice or tutorial

Strengths:
Good review of the material. Students were able to visualized the bonds being made as the polymer formed.

Weaknesses:
Not enough introduction but was a good way of reviewing material.
