My rating of this resource: ****

My experience using this resource:
Chemistry

Topic I was teaching:
Gas Laws

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
I wanted to demonstrate the gas laws in way that was visual for the students

Course Level:
Intro or Regular, Remedial

How I/my students used the resource:
This was used as a part of lecture material for the gas law sections for my chemistry classes.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Provides access to data sets, Increases data collection & analysis skills, Provides a virtual lab, Provides practice or tutorial, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
This site has a group of effective animations that are useful to demonstrate the chemical principles covered in class. They are interactive, so the students can change certain parameters and see the effect that those changes would have.

Weaknesses:
There are multiple forms of the animations, some of which are useful and some which are not. It takes time to go through each one and determine which one you want to use with the students
