My rating of this resource: ***

Nuclear chemistry and nuclear reactions

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
To allow the students to see an example of radioactive decay. This site shows the difference between alpha, beta, and gamma radiation

Course Level:
Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
This was used as a demonstration of nuclear chemistry during lecture time

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Increases modeling skills

Strengths:
This shows animations of various types of chemical reactions and concepts. It is very easy to use as long as you have the capability to project this on a larger screen

Weaknesses:
The animations on this site are not all that exciting, but they are effective as a teaching tool.
