My rating of this resource: ****

My experience using this resource:
Forensic Science

Topic I was teaching:
We were discussing poisoning deaths and I thought it would be interesting to find information about some commonly known toxins

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
To show the chemical structure, uses and sources of some common poisons

Course Level:
Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
We used this as a source of information about toxins

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Increases modeling skills, Increases access to scientists, Provides additional content, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
Good site to show structures of molecules as well as the history behind that particular molecule

Weaknesses:
The website has molecules posted for every month since January 1996. It has them listed in table form, but there are so many molecules, that it can be overwhelming to find one!
