My rating of this resource: ****

My experience using this resource:
Physics

Topic I was teaching:
Drawing floor plans from Chapter 1 Home - Active Physics.

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
As a part of the Chapter 1 Challenge, my students had to design a universal dwelling that would be both cost- and energy-efficient. First, they had to draw a floor plan and then they would construct a model of a house and conduct heat transfer experiments using the model.

Course Level:
Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
I printed out this article and gave it to my students as a reference material. Since this article contained both clear and detailed instructions on drawing floor plans and also some good examples of floor plans, my students actually used it as a tutorial. They kept it in their classwork folders and referred to it when needed.

Value Added:
Provides practice or tutorial, Provides additional content

Strengths:
Clear and detailed instructions, good and representative samples of drawings.

Weaknesses:
None
