My rating of this resource: ****

My experience using this resource:
Chemistry

Topic I was teaching:
Temperature change in solutions.

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
For students to see a visual representation of the temperature change as solute is added in a solution.

Course Level:
Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
I brought students to the lab and had a demonstration all ready to go. I used the Vernier temperature to graph the difference in boiling point using the Logger Pro software.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation

Strengths:
The Logger Pro is a phenomenal resource that allows for all type of manipulation of data. In this case it was a great visual for students to understand the concept graphically.

Weaknesses:
The tool can be cumbersome to connect to the probe. It does take some time initially but once you are running it is really easy.
