My rating of this resource: ****

My experience using this resource:
AP Biology

Topic I was teaching:
The nervous system

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
To help students understand the fucnction of neurons action potential and communication via neurotransmitters.

Course Level:
A.P.

How I/my students used the resource:
We projected images from the text onto the smartboard and was able to write notes on them to help student interpret the figures. We also watched the animations as a way to sum up what we had just learned.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation

Strengths:
It is resource that goes along with their text, so we are able to directly address images they have examined independently in their reading assignments.

Weaknesses:
Some of the animations are not as detailed as I would like them to be.
