Topic I was teaching: cell structure and function
My learning goal for which this resource was used: To give styudents a sense of what the inside of a cell might really look like.
Course Level: A.P., Honors or Advanced, Intro or Regular, Remedial
How I/my students used the resource: We have watched the animation several times and each time they are more confident about recognizng certian structures and understanding the functions.
Value Added: Provides visualization or animation, Provides practice or tutorial, Provides additional content, Increases student engagement and motivation
Strengths: The quality of the animation is outstanding. Students really enjoy watching it, they get a better sense of the inner working of a cell.
Weaknesses: On the page listed the animation window is small. I recomend the address below for a larger view:http://www.studiodaily.com/main/technique/tprojects/6850.html |
