My rating of this resource: ****

My experience using this resource:
Honors Chemistry

Topic I was teaching:
Gas Laws

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
Have students visualize and determine relationships of volume, moles, temp, and pressure of gases on their own.

Course Level:
A.P., Honors or Advanced, Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
My students do the assignment as homework, but in a regular or lower level class it could be done as a class activity in a computer lab

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Increases modeling skills, Provides a virtual lab, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
allows students to change conditions as many times as needed to come up with the relationships. Makes students think through why volume is directly related to moles, etc.
Effective introduction to work.

Weaknesses:
some students had trouble downloading animation
