My rating of this resource: ***

My experience using this resource:
Anatomy & Physiology

Topic I was teaching:
Blood

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
To show the students how the human immune system works

Course Level:
A.P., Honors or Advanced, Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
to accompany a class discussion of how the human immune system funcitons. This video serves as an aid to students prior to their designing a skit which is supposed to highlight the body responding to a foreign antigen

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
great graphics! engaging!

Weaknesses:
while some videos have a sound track, not all do leaving a teacher with a little more homework to do!

there is the potential to purchase the videos, but they're expensive and the on-line demo works well for me and is free!
