Solar System

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
To be able to show the students the difference in the size of the planets, which is difficult when we are just seeing pictures with no comparisons or scale.

Course Level:
Honors or Advanced, Intro or Regular, Remedial

How I/my students used the resource:
We viewed this site together on the active board while learning about the different planets.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Provides access to remote instrumentation, Increases access to scientists, Provides additional content, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
Great way to see the planets in scale and side-by-side. The site is easy to use and is a very effective learning tool.

Weaknesses:
none
