My rating of this resource: ***

My experience using this resource:
Biology

Topic I was teaching:
Immune system

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
Have students be able to articulate the process of chemical immune response.

Course Level:
Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
This was used at home by students to help them formulate the chemical immune system in their own words. The subject and other animations were shown in class but this was a suppliment to that lesson. Students were required to write a paragraph on a quiz about the process

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Provides practice or tutorial

Strengths:
Very simple and moves slowly enough that students can take their time. It is designed to be stopped and started or replayed at the students wishes. It provides good vocabulary for this leve.

Weaknesses:
Is small on the page and so should be used only with individual computers. Can be somewhat limiting with information, it simplifies the process. I would not make it the only resource they used on this subject.
