My rating of this resource: *****

My experience using this resource:
Gas laws

Topic I was teaching:
Boyleslaw

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
To have students see the relationship between pressure and volume of a gas.

Course Level:
Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
I use it to demonstrate changes in either pressure or volume by manipulating the other variable. Students can see the change immediately and then can offer up suggestions for change. After getting data we select to have a graph drawn.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Increases modeling skills, Provides access to data sets, Provides a virtual lab

Strengths:
It allows me to have data collected quickly to make a point. It is fairly easy to use and is not tedious to load or get ready for students viewing. It is something a student could do as a presentation

Weaknesses:
It takes some getting use to.
