My rating of this resource: ***

My experience using this resource:
podcasting

Topic I was teaching:
podcasting for science classes

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
to provide examples of podcasts for students to use as models as they create their own podcasts re: protein syntheisis, enzyme action

Course Level:
Intro or Regular, Remedial

How I/my students used the resource:
to provide examples of podcasts for students to use as models as they create their own podcasts re: protein syntheisis, enzyme action

students discussed the pros/cons of podcasts already made in preparation for making their own

Value Added:
Increases student engagement and motivation, serves as a model for student work

Strengths:
fun, engaging, very simple in design with potential to serve the students as solid podcast examples

Weaknesses:
would be benefical if some podcasts were accompanied by video
