My rating of this resource: ***

My experience using this resource:
Chemistry

Topic I was teaching:
Intro To Acids and Bases

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
Students understand the difference between an acid and base based on experimental results

Course Level:
Intro or Regular, Remedial

How I/my students used the resource:
Used as the intro activity to acids and bases.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Provides a virtual lab

Strengths:
Good results. It asks to students to make predictions before completing the lab. It is easy to use and it is a time saver as well as a review of concepts from middle school.

Weaknesses:
The content is basic. This site is best used as a quick engage activity into acids and bases. To get the most from the resource I suggest you develop higher order thinking quetions to accompany the resource.
