My rating of this resource: *****

My experience using this resource:
Chemistry

Topic I was teaching:
Reactions

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
For students to see the high reactive nature of the group one elements.

Course Level:
Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
It was used as and intro piece at the beginning of a class period.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
This is a very well done video that has great close-ups of the reaction happening. I also really like the professor's dialogue as he is performing the reaction, it is easy to understand for kids at the high school level. Also, it projects nicely in the full screen version.

Weaknesses:
There is down time in this video because he is moving stuff around or setting up. It is seven minutes total.
