My rating of this resource: ****

My experience using this resource:
Env. Science

Topic I was teaching:
many uses - collaboration of lab materials, collaboration as a study guide

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
To get students to share information and resources as a part of a collaborative process

Course Level:
Honors or Advanced, Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
Students used this resource as a collaborative data sheet when planning a lesson that they would teach to other classes. Students were all given read/write access to a class document and they could add their part. When complete, the word or excel document could be exported to each computer or printed.

Value Added:
Access to other student work or data, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
easy to use once set up, works like a word document or excel document that all students can have open at one time if needed. Easy as sending a link for students to visit.

Weaknesses:
Word component auto saves and can erase contributions of those that are writing at the same time. Excel seems to be fine with multiple users online at the same time. All students will need to set up gmail accounts in order to have access.
