My rating of this resource: *****

My experience using this resource:
physics

Topic I was teaching:
Any

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
To have student share data collected in class that will be needed by all so they can analyze it for a trend

Course Level:
Honors or Advanced, Intro or Regular, Remedial

How I/my students used the resource:
Students collected data from the same lab nut they did different values of the IV. Everyone in the class needed to have all data to draw a conclusion about how the change in the IV affected the given DV. Up until this time students always collected the data and than sharede it on the white board and everyone copied it down and than took the tim eto build their own spreadsheets. During this class the students collected the data and entered it in the google docs spreadsheet that everyone had access to. All students than could download this finished spreadsheet to their own machine so they could work on the analysis of the question.

Value Added:
Provides access to data sets, Increases data collection & analysis skills, Access to other student work or data

Strengths:
Easy to use and easy to access. Makes no difference what computer platform you are working from.

Weaknesses:
Students need to have already developed spreadsheet skills
