Topic I was teaching:
weather fronts

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
i wanted to show how cold new england has been in the last three weeks despite global warming and I thought that a global warming cartoon would get the students in the "mood" to discuss the subject

Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
i showed the cartoon on the projector and then discussed the 3 week cold spell

Value Added:
Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
great source of science related humor

Weaknesses:
none
