My experience using this resource:
cellular biology

Topic I was teaching:
Cell types

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
To show students the wide variation in cell shape, size and structure and to enable them to look up specific cells they observe under the microscope.

Course Level:
Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
I showed several examples of cell types in class and then let students go to the website to look up the specific tissues they had drawn in class.

Value Added:
Provides access to data sets, Provides access to remote instrumentation, Increases data collection & analysis skills, Provides additional content

Strengths:
Well organized, easy to access tissue or cell types.

Weaknesses:
None
