physics

Topic I was teaching:
conservation of momentum

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
A student asked about the comet the day before and I found these photos and showed them to the class the next day

Course Level:
A.P.

How I/my students used the resource:
the class viewed the photos through the use of a projector. We then had a short discussion on the causes of the comet's "expansion".

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Provides a virtual lab, Increases access to scientists, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
photographs were taken from various locations on Earth and the students saw how science can make our world smaller

Weaknesses:
none
