My learning goal for which this resource was used:
To be able to describe how an ionic solid interacts with water. To explain how an ionic solution effects a conductivity apparatus.

Course Level:
Honors or Advanced, Intro or Regular, Remedial

How I/my students used the resource:
I hyperlinked the animation to my powerpoint on solutions

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Provides additional content, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
An effective visualization of the break up of ionic solids in water.

Weaknesses:
Not interactive. Students just watch the animation and cannot change any parameters.
