My experience using this resource: osmosis- review for the trimester exam
Topic I was teaching: I was reviewing for the trimester exam, so osmosis was one of many topics being covered. I was looking for a way to present the information in a new way to the students.
My learning goal for which this resource was used: My goal for this resource was to present the topic of osmosis in a different way than what they had originally been taught, in hopes that it would help the information stick before the final exam.
Course Level: Intro or Regular
How I/my students used the resource: We (my students and I) used this site during a review session.
Value Added: Provides visualization or animation, Increases student engagement and motivation
Strengths: This provided an animation that the students could connect to their previous knowledge of the subject.
Weaknesses: I did not find a weakness, I would say that the only time this would be a problem would be if the student did not have access to the internet.
