Evolution

History of Earth

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
Describe the important events that shape up Earth's history.

Course Level:
Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
I created a word document with dates and the students were to research each date and describe the events associated with each date.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Increases mapping skills, Increases modeling skills, Provides access to data sets, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
Students can easily access the information. The content is at grade level. It it an effective learning tool for student centered learning.

Weaknesses:
The source (wikipedia) is overuse and its quality is somewhat questionable
