My rating of this resource: *****

My experience using this resource:
Biology

Topic I was teaching:
Evolution and Speciation

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
My goal was for students to think about the barriers that preserve species by using this tool. They learned some basic biology about all these species and could see why some are not compatable.

Course Level:
A.P., Honors or Advanced, Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
Students worked in pairs and went through the game together. We discussed their findings once they had finished.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Increases modeling skills, Provides a virtual lab, Provides practice or tutorial, Provides additional content, Provides assessment opportunity, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
It is really fun, but older students might find it a little silly. The content is good. It has a host of vertebrate and invertebrate animals to learn about. It It is easy to do and is instructive.

Weaknesses:
The window is rather small so it can be hard for two kids working together to both read the text.
