My experience using this resource:
Biology

Topic I was teaching:
Meiosis

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
My goal was to show the similarities and differences between mitosis and meiosis.

Course Level:
A.P., Honors or Advanced, Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
We used the animation in class after going over the steps of meiosis. The resource was also posted to my website so they could look at the aanimation later as a review.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
It is good quality in terms of content and usuability. It does not take long to do, and has good textual explanations of what is happening in the cells.

Weaknesses:
I do not think it has any weaknesses. It is a quick and easy way to review both motosis and meiosis.
