My rating of this resource: ***

My experience using this resource:
Earth systems Sci

Topic I was teaching:
Hydrologic cycle

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
build on students prior knowledge to construct a stock n flow model of how a water droplet moves from one holding place for water to another

Course Level:
Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
showed illustration to supplement their pre-assessment diagram (drawn from prior knowledge) to create a stock n flow diagram as a stepping stone for discussing the watersheds in an area

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Increases modeling skills

Strengths:
image shows water cycle accurately and limited info allows students to build on prior knowledge without giving too much info to them

Weaknesses:
limited info so should only be used as supplement to prior knowledge
