My experience using this resource: Biology
Topic I was teaching: I'm looking at it for mitosis and reviewing osmosis
My learning goal for which this resource was used: TO review osmosis, which my students can't seem to get - going forward to show them mitosis
Course Level: Intro or Regular
How I/my students used the resource: For the mitosis I have a chart they will fill out highlighting the important aspects of mitosis. As an extension I want them to conjecture for each phase, what problems may arise in the resulting cell if there is an error or malfunction
Value Added: Provides visualization or animation, Provides practice or tutorial
Strengths: I haven't used this yet, but I believe, from prior experiences with animations, that this will keep motivation and interest high.
Weaknesses: Haven't seen any yet
