My rating of this resource: **

My experience using this resource:
Advanced Topics in Biology

Topic I was teaching:
Brain Anatomy

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
Have students learn major parts of the animal brain.

Course Level:
Honors or Advanced

How I/my students used the resource:
I was absent due to illness so picked site to have them do a virtual dissection in the computer lab. I left a questionnaire with the substitute teacher for the students to answer as they worked through the virtual dissection.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Provides a virtual lab, Provides practice or tutorial, Provides additional content, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
Content is college level

Weaknesses:
Students found that they couldn't see a lot of the items that were supposedly identified. They found the site difficult to navigate and confusing.
