My rating of this resource: *****

My experience using this resource:
Advanced Biology

Topic I was teaching:
Genetics

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
Teach students the genetics behind genetic disorders and the the molecular techniques used to diagnose them.

Course Level:
Honors or Advanced

How I/my students used the resource:
I assigned each student a genetic disorder along with a set of questions for which they needed to answer using the site.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Increases access to scientists, Provides practice or tutorial, Provides additional content, Provides assessment opportunity, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
Excellent content in terms of accuracy and understandability. Animations really help to illustrate topics that are very hard to describe in a way that students can understand.

Weaknesses:
none that I can think of.
