My rating of this resource: *****

My experience using this resource:
Chemistry

Topic I was teaching:
Periodicity

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
An exploration of elements and periodic trends.

Course Level:
Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
Before starting the topic I asked students to find helpful resources on the internet which we then combine. This was one of the better resources and was then/ still is being used for individual information and discussion of the periodic trends. I will also use it for electron configuration.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Increases graphing skills, Provides additional content, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
I especially like the graphs. The graphs allow students to interact learning how characteristics change from one side of the period to the other as well as in a family. I find it useful for student study as well as class discussion.

Weaknesses:
none
