My experience using this resource:
Advanced Biology

Topic I was teaching:
Mitosis and Meiosis

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
Help students visualize the steps involved in mitosis and meiosis.

Course Level:
Honors or Advanced

How I/my students used the resource:
Had students go through tutorials for homework then discussed in class the next day using visuals from site in a PowerPoint presentation.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Provides practice or tutorial, Provides additional content, Provides assessment opportunity, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
Allows students to work through material at their own pace, students can self-assess their own progress, contains illustrations for visual learners, takes advantage of students natural draw to surfing "the Net".

Weaknesses:
A bit wordy and less animations than I'd like to see.
