My rating of this resource: ****

My experience using this resource:
Cell structure and function

Topic I was teaching:
Cell membranes

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
I wanted students to see the chemical structure of the molecules in action and to review the basic structure of membranes

Course Level:
A.P., Honors or Advanced

How I/my students used the resource:
It is very good for the AP level, but be cautious with the honors or advanced as the animation will require a lot more explanation. We used it in the AP class to review basic structures and function of the cell membranes and as a review of organic molecule structure.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Increases modeling skills, Provides additional content, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
It is very detailed and high quality in terms of content. It takes time to go through to make sure students understand all the information presented.

Weaknesses:
For some the way the page is arranged it may seem disorganized and hard to follow. There is a lot going on at once.
