My rating of this resource: ***

My experience using this resource:
Human Digestion

Topic I was teaching:
Ingestion and swallowing

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
I wanted students to see the action of the tounge and epiglottis as food was swallowed and moved to the esophagus and finally to the stomach

Course Level:
A.P., Honors or Advanced

How I/my students used the resource:
We watched this animation in class while talking about the process of swallowing and the class also reviewed this animation at home after class

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation

Strengths:
I think it helps students visualize the process and can organize the sequence of events easier by wacthing it after having talked about it in class.

Weaknesses:
The animation is well labeled but it does not do a good job of addressing peristalisis
