My rating of this resource: ****

My experience using this resource:
Physics

Topic I was teaching:
Heat transfer

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
The students will be able to define the greenhouse effect and to explain how it works.

Course Level:
Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
The students had to research the Internet and answer the questions on the greenhouse effect in a Microsoft Word format. They found this resource among other Internet resources and found it to be clear and detailed.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Provides additional content, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
The strengh of this resource is that it breaks the concept into smaller pieces and provides animation for visual learners to reinforce their understanding of the concept. Also, this web page contains links to additional material related to the greenhouse effect.

Weaknesses:
In my opinion, last four slides on humankind's influence on the greenhouse effect would be more effective for learning if they were created in the same animation style as the previous slides.
