My rating of this resource: ****

My experience using this resource:
Physics

Topic I was teaching:
Temperature measurements.

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
The students will be able to distinguish between the Celsius, Kelvin, and Fahrenheit scales and to convert temperature measurements from one scale to another.

Course Level:
Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
The students accessed the article on temperature during the class when we were discussing the topic. They had to finish reading the article for homework and answer the mini-quiz included in the article. In case if someone was not able to access the Internet resource from home they were given a print-out of the article.

Value Added:
Provides practice or tutorial, Provides additional content, Provides assessment opportunity

Strengths:
The article is written in a very understandable manner and consisely and clearly represents the major concepts of the topic.

Weaknesses:
It would be helpful to have diagrams of the Celsius, Kelvin, and Fahrenheit scales (or other diagrams clarifying the topic) included in the article.
