My rating of this resource: ***

My experience using this resource:
chemistry

Topic I was teaching:
reactions occurring in aqueous solutions

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
To show students what is happening during the dissolving process and how solutions react with one another.

Course Level:
A.P., Honors or Advanced, Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
Use to help to visualize reactions observed in lab as well as how to write these reactions to demonstrate what is happening. To give students a better understanding of visualizing how matter behaves in solution.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Increases modeling skills

Strengths:
Helps to show what students are doing in replacement reactions. I haven't used it yet to see how effective it is.

Weaknesses:
diagram is small and move rapidly. Students may be better off watching individually rather than in classroom presentation.
