My rating of this resource: ***

My experience using this resource:
Chemistry

Topic I was teaching:
Atoms

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
Have students understand how the elements are the building blocks of matter.

Course Level:
Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
I showed parts of it in class. The students then had the opportunity to ask questions.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation

Strengths:
The visuals are excellent for a topic which is normally described, but difficult to SEE.

Weaknesses:
It was great! The students loved it, and still now we sometimes refer to some of the visuals. I didn't show the entire 55 minutes. I have used fragments of about 15 minutes at a time. Sometimes I've used even small fragments of 2 minutes to help students remember some of the things we discussed earlier in the year.
