My rating of this resource: *****

My experience using this resource:
All classes in biology

Topic I was teaching:
Most topics covered in biology

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
To engage students who are more computer oriented or to allow students the opportunity to visualize a process as it occurs rather than on a flat page in a book.

Course Level:
Honors or Advanced, Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
My students use this site all the time. It is on my webpage. I encourage students to use it frequently to help them to understand cellular processes in greater depth.

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation, Provides practice or tutorial, Provides additional content, Provides assessment opportunity, Increases student engagement and motivation

Strengths:
excellent selection of websites. Most work very well.

Weaknesses:
A few of the sites are a little too advanced for some of my students, but overall there are sites for all levels.
