My rating of this resource: ****

My experience using this resource:
Environmental Science

Topic I was teaching:
Biomes

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
Students were investigating biomes and creating a group project on that biome to share with the class

Course Level:
Intro or Regular

How I/my students used the resource:
Students used the resource for background information on a particular biome. The resource explains where each biome is globally distributed, the general climate, aspects of the physical environment, soil order(s), the types of growth forms present, and the animals characteristic of each biome.

Value Added:
Provides practice or tutorial, Provides additional content

Strengths:
The website has plenty of information for students to sort though.

Weaknesses:
The site can be intimidating to some as there is a lot more written than there is seen in pictures or graphics.
