My rating of this resource: ****

My experience using this resource:
Chemistry

Topic I was teaching:
Electron Configuration

My learning goal for which this resource was used:
To use as visualization tool

Course Level:
A.P., Honors or Advanced, Intro or Regular, Remedial

How I/my students used the resource:
I used the electron configuration gizmo to show students how subshells are filled. Y

Value Added:
Provides visualization or animation

Strengths:
It was a nice visualizaton and eventhough the site is fee-based you can access any gizmo for 5 minutes to see how it works. This was just enought time to show my students what I wanted to show them.

Weaknesses:
It cost money if you need longer than 5 minutes to use an animation or shockwave applet
